Well there's no more trips to East Centre,
no more driving to the city at 3 AM,
but I'd rather not play pretend when I have 10 times better friends.

You were a phase I went through I think.
It went downhill every time we would smoke and drink.
Oh! Remember those shooting stars?
I think they were a warning to tell me I should get out.
But I didn't listen. It caused me so much pain.
But it in the end I guess I learned from my mistakes.

I think I'd either weakly smile, maybe chuckle to myself
because I know my skin has grown thicker.

And I would pay good money to see your facial expression of disbelief maybe mixed with depression but
then again these are just selfish daydreams.
